This 8-day tour to Sri Lanka departs from Kolkata on October 9th, 2025. Itinerary at a Glance
Day 1 (Kolkata - Chennai): Depart from Kolkata at 6:00 PM and arrive in Chennai at 8:20 PM for an overnight stay.
Day 2 (Dambulla): Fly from Chennai to Colombo, arriving at 11:20 AM. En route to Dambulla, visit the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage and the Dambulla Cave Temple.
Day 3 (Anuradhapura Excursion): Take a day trip to explore the ancient city of Anuradhapura, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Day 4 (Dambulla - Kandy): Visit Sigiriya Lion Rock (own cost), a Spice Garden, and Sri Muthumari Amman Kovil. In Kandy, see a cultural show and visit the Temple of the Sacred Tooth.
Day 5 (Kandy - Nuwara Eliya): Explore Kandy, including the Royal Botanical Gardens. Travel to Nuwara Eliya, visiting Sri Bhaktha Hanuman Temple, Ramboda Falls, and Seetha Amman Temple.
Day 6 (Nuwara Eliya - Bentota): En route to Bentota, see Devon and St. Clair waterfalls. Enjoy a boat safari on the Madhu River and visit a sea turtle conservation project.
Day 7 (Bentota - Colombo): Travel to Colombo and take a city tour, visiting Cinnamon Gardens, Fort, Sea Street, the Dutch Church of Wolfendhal, and the Lotus Tower.
Day 8 (Colombo - Kolkata): Depart from Colombo at 1:30 PM, transit through Chennai, and arrive in Kolkata at 11:25 PM.
